None CodeLobster IDE CodeLobster IDE is a source code editor built from the ground up to support web development languages like PHP, HTML, and others. The software is cross-platform and offers many features that may be useful to many programmers.
When you open the software for the first time, you are greeted with a default interface visual style and color scheme, both of which can be changed at any time. The interface consists of windows organized in tabs, which can be reorganized or closed at your liking.
The major part of the screen is taken by the code editor. Many files with code can be opened at once and are shown organized in tabs as well. Here you can also see a real-time preview of the code you are working on.
Built-in file explorer allows you to browse local file storage, or work directly with files located on the remote server. This is possible with the support for FTP/SFTP connections. Other windows located on the interface allow you to view classes, structure, errors in code, and similar.
The software supports code highlighting and Intellisense for autocomplete functionality. Support for plugins enables you to activate autocomplete and in many cases code highlighting for various frameworks, libraries, etc., like Angular JS, Drupal, WordPress, JQuery, Yii, Laravel, Magento, and others.
Some other notable features worth mentioning include support for comparing files, integrated converter, support for code formatting, code snippets, and code validator. CodeLobster IDE does not consume much of system resources. All of this makes it a code editor worth trying, and best of all, it is free.
